Recreational Classes
Recreational classes offer an excellent venue for students to experience and learn the fundamental basics and explore all the elements of dance. With these tools we encourage and guide the students through skill development and self expression working towards a final piece of work for the year end show.
Competitive Classes
The competitive classes of Danceworx are in place for those who want to be challenged and strengthened in both their technique and performance. This program is for the committed and focused students who understand the importance of the full support of all members of their dance team. Attendance is extremely important for all during the year and attendance at competitions is mandatory. Entrance into these programs is by teacher approval only.
Competitive classes will be competing in 1 to 3 dance festivals, depending on the level of dance. These competitions have an entry fee around $25.00 per student per entry. There is also a costume to buy for each class your child has enrolled in which is professionally made at a cost between $50.00 and $100.00. Students and their families need to consider the hours of dedication and financial obligation required for these classes and the year long commitment before enrolling.
