All classes today (Friday Jan 20th) at Danceworx are cancelled due to the weather conditions.
Hopefully we will be up and running tomorrow as it is supposed to warm up and rain!
Pre Company extra scheduled rehearsals for tonight will be rescheduled for next Friday Jan 27th

Welcome all Danceworx families!! Registration is still under way for our 2012 dance season. recreational classes still have some space available. Stop by the studio during our office hours for more information or to register. If you would like to bring your child to try a class just give us a call.
As a director of a studio, I am privileged to have such amazingly qualified, loving and caring instructors. I am pumped for all the students at Danceworx and I am looking forward to what we can accomplish as a team this season.

Studio Info- When arriving I ask the parents and students to please be very quiet entering the studio for classes and when using the bathrooms. There are classes going on all the time and with the ceilings being open we need to respect the classes going on and Nina at the front desk. Please remember that we suggest for the pre-dance munchkins that parents wait in the front lobby or step out for a cup of coffee. With our older students we recommend that parents drop their munchkins off for the duration of the class.

We hope that the parking isn’t too much of a concern and there is over flow parking to the right before entering the parking lot. Please drive cautiously as there are little munchkins entering and exiting!!
Once classes begin Recreational students will begin with a review in technique and dance elements, and then we’ll introduce new steps and start to put them together into choreography. We will have an informal showing the last class before Christmas Break please come to the last 15 min of your munchkins class to see what they have been up to!
Intensive students will do the same with more focus on choreography as we would love to have their pieces close to completion before Christmas break. Classes will be participating in , two or more competitions, Competion dates will be posted soon!
Costumes- Deposits should be handed in upon registering and the balance will be due once costumes are finished. We will be using Jazz ma Tazz for some costumes, catalogues and store bought costumes this year to keep costs down. Teachers will be in charge of keeping you up to date with what is required.
Timeline for Competition Fees- please remember to leave your deposits when you register this way we have them all on file ready to go for those dates! More information regarding prices and which competitions we are doing this year will come to you via e-mail ASAP!!
We have Danceworx Photos and DVDs of Year End Performance waiting for pick-up from June! Please pick up at office during office hours!!
Danceworx Clothing! Sweat Pants, T-Shirts and Jackets! Order forms will be available at front desk very soon. Great Christmas presents for all!
