Danceworx was created in 2001 as an opportunity to share the directors' enthusiasm of the benefits of creative learning through movement and dance to all.

Danceworx offers an excellent range of dance disciplines for students of all ages. We teach the concepts of dance through activities and exercises appropriate for each age level. Students gain knowledge and skills necessary to create, perform, and respond effectively to dance arts. We believe that the students who have the chance to experience dance in a joyful way will make it a part of their lives. In this way Danceworx is more than just a dance school. Danceworx is a place where students can develop his or her creative potential in a warm, positive and enthusiastic atmosphere.

All of our students are taught by professional, caring teachers who aspire to provide their students with an excellent dance education along with an application of the arts in all forms.

An active, creative mind should be housed in an active, creative body. Through engagement of whole self, creative movement offers a unique experience for children of all ages. Creative movement allows students the opportunity to express and explore their thoughts and feelings while discovering how to communicate using their whole self. Dance stimulates the imagination, strengthens the body, challenges the intellect, and awakens an emotional sensitivity without judgement. All of these while providing the naturally curious child personal joy and fulfillment.
